2023's 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection blew everyone's socks off, so Konami immediately started working on a sequel. To get it to market as quickly as possible, some configuration changes were made but the good stuff (and value!) was kept. The 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II boosters contain twice as many Ultra Rares and Secret Rares per booster, giving you twice as many chances to get "Luxury Rares" per pack (Quarter Century Secret Rares, "Prismatic"-Style Ultimate & Collector's Rares and Platinum Rares)!
Konami has reduced the packaging so there are fewer boosters to open (and less foil packaging to throw away) to get the same number of cards you're looking for. (And with twice the number of cards per booster, this time around two-thirds of the boosters should have at least one "Luxury Rarity", and about a third should have more than one. This time you could even have up to SIX "Luxury Rarities" in them get a booster).
In case you missed the first Rarity Collection, here's how it works: Every card in the set is available in every rarity, with 3 "standard" rarities (Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Secret Rare) and four special "luxury" rarities: Quarter Century Secret Rares (to celebrate the 25th anniversary with lots of sparkle and a watermark logo!), Platinum Secret Rares, Collector's Rares in the "Prismatic" style (formerly only available overseas) and Ultimate Rares in the "Prismatic" style Style (with special 3D paint, also only available overseas until recently).
Opening the Rarity Collection Booster is a fast-paced waterfall of high-profile cards in seven of the game's most popular foil rarities.
